Transhumanism. Extropianism. Singularitarianism. Cosmism. Rationalism. Effective Altruism. Longtermism.
Émile P. Torres (they/them) is an antinatalist student who uses "TESCREAL" to refer collectively to these 7 distinct philosophical movements.
Their conspiracy theory is that each field and all the diverse views within each one exist only to serve a sinister cult of racist, right-wing elites.
Interestingly, Torres is a former advocate of all 7. Since evangelical Christianity didn't work out, Torres has sought a sense of purpose in various communities. But with each messy break-up, another batch of "dangerous eugenicists" (another idea Torres used to defend) is added to their noble harassment campaign. "TESCREAL" victims often dare not respond, but even that can prompt accusations of inhuman emotional abuse.
One way in which Torres' contempt for an increasingly unwieldy list of groups is manifested is in advocating for the extinction of the human race. They assert that when a "TESCREAList" argues for increased consideration for future generations, this is merely an attempt to justify genocide. Of course, there is no such implication when Torres calls for human extinction.
